It was sometime since we waited to go to this exhibition and voila we were there to experience it in namma Bengaluru.
Van Gogh’s artworks had always intrigued me and it was kind of varied feeling too that this artist achieved the fame, wealth, recognition only after his death.
The Dutch artist’s art world was spectacularly brought to life with this exhibit. The major deterrent according to me was the distance of the venue and yet we did make it.

Vangogh’s work is in Bangalore as an impressive experience at Bharatiya City Mall at Thanisandra.
The exhibit doors lead the visitor to a space where you read about the artist, his work that speaks volumes. It feels fabulous and little pained as this artist battled mental illness, poverty, loneliness and unable to get the recognition he so well deserved.
The experience centre has the running images and videos of his work right from Starry nights to sunflowers and so many influencing factors in his life.

Mums and Stories recommends it if you love an off beat artsy world experience. Also these curated experiences were confined to European countries or elsewhere but it is heartening to see enriched , soul healing visual delights are now accessible in India.
Vangogh 360 exhibit is currently in Bangalore before it heads to Hyderabad and few more cities.
Tickets are priced at Rs 1100/-
