The Puzzle Series, a set of four books compiled by Vinita Zutshi, published by Hachette is a delight for the curious reader.
Geography, History, English and Science Puzzles with picture identification, scrabbles, word play games, crosswords, labelling diagrams, the books actually offer a variety for the kids who are interested in Science or History or English.

We liked the English ones as they are much more easier, however teens who are keen on learning more or are already proficient in their lessons or area of interest will find Geography or Science puzzle books very interesting.
Each book has 100 Brain Teasers and the English one has short exercises on Gerunds, Synonyms, Pronouns, Prefix. What we liked was the fun element added to make the subject more interesting for the curious learner.
The Geography Puzzle book has exercises on unusual animals found in Africa. Other fun and surprising ones include pin codes in India, segregate the waste to Green, Blue or Black boxes, book destinations like where would one associate Jungle book-In India or other country.

Unlike the Geography or the English Puzzle books that is contemporary, History book is predominantly for the advanced reader who takes special interest in learning the past. While the book delves into brain teasers like Gates of Delhi, a fun exercise to unscramble letters to find names of 10 gates of Delhi, on Mughal rulers, on Indian Samrats, there are exercises on French history, Buddhist learning’s, exercises on Sikh gurus, luxury travel along the famed Silk route, exercises on Political matters primarily learning on Civics etc.

Overall, the books make for a good set and can be purchased individually too.
Mums and Stories gives it a 8 on 10.
