The last one month Mums and Stories has been involved in bringing out interesting contests, event of storytelling on Meet Zippy with HarperCollins India.
This time we have the book review of Meet Zippy and its activity book.
Zippy is a Zebra fun and interesting character in the book Meet Zippy written by author and illustrator Anitha Balachandran.
Zippy and his friends have distinct characteristics and they are set in a playground that has swings, slides, ball and more importantly lots of friends to enjoy the play time.
There’s Chikki- the monkey, Toto-the tortoise, Giri- the crocodile, Ela the elephant and many others who are Zippy’s friends and are in the story with a short description of their favourite games.
The book is ideal for those who have got to the concept of reading in the age group of 3 and 5 where they can listen to the simple story of Zippy or read with little assistance. The book has large and colorful illustrations that make it look attractive.
While the younger kids may like to filp through the book for its colourful characters as animals playing in the playground, the accompanying activity book makes it interesting for the kids who can write, cut and paste stickers and draw by themselves. The accompanying activity is ideal for those kids who are in the age group of 5 to 7 years and will love to utilize a book for solving simple puzzles or coloring.
