These books come as a collection and it was a delight to receive them at home. Instantly the books brought a smile as the name rekindled wonderful memories and the child at home was more than happy to read a book everyday. The fabulous Amar Chitra Katha are being revamped and presented by HarperCollinsChildren’s Books and they come in a series.

Funny Folk tales is all about animal stories and they do have a moral. The books make for an enjoyable read for the age group of 8-11 year olds. Also for the younger kids, these stories can be narrated.

Tales of Wit and Wisdom have stories of Akbar-Birbal, stories of Tenali Raman to name a few. This was also the favourite for the child at home. Also an addition and different kind of stories were the Buddhist stories that does make the young reader know a little more on Gautam Buddha, his teachings and way of life.
