The World’s Worst Monsters by David Walliams is more humourous than scary.
The book illustrated by Adam Stower and published by HarperCollins Children’s Books, brings in chuckles as they read on ten stories on monsters.

Children above seven until eleven may find it good although even adults may admire at the writing style especially when you have to write on monsters for kids and it intends to be likeable.
With Halloween approaching soon this goes with the season and ensures the short stories give a good reading experience.
Amber in Bat baby is convinced all her family members are vampires and she is on a quest to find the truth. Lord Phantom has woken up from his slumber after hundreds of years only to find his home as a theme park. Yet it gives him great joy to make people taste cold tomato soup and scare visitors as part of theme park experience.

The nanny in Abominable Snowman is a sweet heart and she ensures all animals who were hunted actually get saved. We particularly liked Bat baby and The Ghost of Nightmare Park from the collection and Mums and Stories gives it 5 on 5.
Read the collection this October and be ready to be delighted by spooky stories for kids.
