The Case of the Stolen Smells Review on Mums and Stories

Here comes another review of the story book for children in the age group of 3-10 years.

Younger ones can be narrated while the five -year- olds onwards can easily read this book with some help.

Published by Karadi tales, written by Pankaja Srinivasan the story reminisces an old style village story and simple storytelling technique.

The story is essentially of an individual who makes a living as an assistant at a salon. One afternoon Raju, the main lead in the story sits to eat his meal which is just plain rice and is left in a dilemma on expenses and living with limited means.

Along with him, sits Kannan, a rag picker and soon both are drawn to the delicious aromatic strong smells of bajji stall across the street. But as he and the rag picker take into inhale the delicious smells, they are confronted by Babu, the bajji cart owner to pay for the smells. Paying for the smells? Who has heard of such an absurd concept. What do Raju and Kannan do?
