Shyam- one of the many names of Krishna gets a myriad of stories registered when we remember the name Krishna.
The book is not set as a single story but series of incidents of the childhood of Lord Krishna. They are short, crisp and have images running in the adjoining pages.
Shyam’s love for butter, love for mischief, stories about him and Ma Yashoda are written in the book as incidents and synopsis of stories.
The book makes a good additional read for young readers, in the age group of 6-8 year olds and they also have the option to colour the images. The illustrations are in the typical Devdutt style where characters have a distinct look.
