Dasara Celebrations is the time when Karnataka brings its rich flavour through one important element and that is with doll display. Individuals and families have the tradition of putting their dolls in step wise order and many new dolls are added every year.
Generally this was a tradition that was followed by certain families who took efforts in creating the display. Neighbors, friends and relatives visited these families, gave them feedback and these were occasions to meet, greet and socialize. Of course it was also to admire the breathtaking dolls.
This time we are recommending two spaces that are open to public and there is no fee to visit or admire them.

Our recommendations is high on this decor.
Our next recommendation is for Dhaatu which has a surreal and different doll display.
Communities get developed when you share. We were at Dhaatu, a space nurtured to encourage puppetry, storytelling using life size puppets and dolls that are crafted with care.

Mums and stories highly recommends that you visit this space with children.
Do note photography and videos are not allowed but you will be experiencing something, surreal, spectacular and a rush of happy emotions that give you enormous amount of contentment.

It is a visual delight with so many dolls that also reflect Ramayan and Mahabharata tales.
The enchanting space has also planned for string puppetry performances over the weekend and early next week.
Mums and stories gives this visual delight experience a five on five.
