The Day The Crayons Quit is an adorable book with a very creative story line written by Drew Day Walt and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers. This one published by HarperCollins, makes for a good read for 6 to 10 years kids

As the story goes, Duncan, we assume to be a young boy who loves his crayons but one day finds a stack of letters with his name on them. To his surprise, each crayon from his crayon box has written to him on what they like, what they don’t, how they are overworked or under utilized and many of the lines are hilarious.

It’s a fun book and best way to end the read is color something interesting using all the colours.

Our recommendations is high for The Day the Crayons quit and surely can be a good holiday read.
